I am a work in progress. In no particular order, I am a mom, a wife, a child of God, a friend, a sister, a daughter. I drink too much coffee, I love red wine, and crave sushi all the time. I’m a night owl and and early bird, but enjoy quiet early mornings the best.
I am a writer, editor, speaker and a recovering anorexia patient. I write creative non-fiction about life, my story, and God as the anchor for both. I speak about writing, editing, faith, culture and my experience from living with and recovering from my eating disorder. In all this I am hoping that people will feel hope, encouragement, inspiration, and love.
My favorite sound in all the land is the acoustic guitar. Even better is acoustic guitar mixed with a single, soulful male voice.
I’m a writer, I’m an editor, I’m a reader, I’m an obsessive journal collector. I’m romantically nostalgic about old forms of communication, like pen and paper.
I’m a worrier, yet I expect the best but prepare for the worst. What lives in my spirit–my views, opinions, experiences and perspectives of the world around me are logged here on this blog.
